”The Beautiful Face of Serbia 2009” Awards


The Second big contest ”The Beautiful Face of Serbia” for the series of most beautiful photographs from our country, organized by National Review and the Advanced and Vocational School of Tourism in Belgrade.
With the decision of the Jury, the Award for Life Achievements is given to the master of photography Milinko Stefanović, one of the best Serbian art and magazine photographers of all times.
Sixteen authors went further in competition, from many who applied: Vesna Lalović (Bajina Bašta), Slobodan Ogrizović (Belgrade), Miroslav Jovanović (Smederevo), Verica Radivojević (Lugavčina), Radomir Ćirić (Babušnica), Saša Mikić (Jagodina), Jasmina Pešić (Aranđelovac), Predrag Plavišić (Belgrade), Igor Markov (Novi Sad), Danijela Petrović (Novi Beograd), Ivan Vitiz (Dobanovci), Milinko Ilić (Crna Bara), Sava Zavišić (Kikinda), Goran Filipović (Belgrade), Aleksandar Radoš (Belgrade) and Zoran Vlašković (Kosovska Mitrovica).
The first prize was given to Aleksandar Radoš from Belgrade, with 30 points
The second prize was given to Igor Markov from Novi Sad, with 15 points.
The third prize was given to Zoran Vlašković from Kosovska Mitrovica, with 13 points.
A special diploma was given to Miroslav Jovanović from Smederevo, with 10 points.
All awarded authors will be represented in the following editions of National Review.
The jury included: Professor Milan Skakun (Ph. D.), the Director of the College of Hotel Management; Dragan Bosnić, professional photographer, vice-President; Željko Sinobad, professional photographer, the Editor of photography in Ilustrovana politika, member; Miša Ognjanović, representing the awarded from last year’s competition, member; Branislav Matić, the Assistant of the Editor-in-Chief of National Review, representing the editorial board.
