The Beautiful Face of Serbia
Aleksandar Radoš (Belgrade, 1960). Finished elementary and high school in his native town, he got a degree of the Faculty of Geology, on the Department for Applied Geophysics. He is the Manager of the centre for Microfilming in the Archive of Serbia. He published a number of works of this particular field.
He is a master of photography of ULUPUS (Serbian Association of Artists of Applied Arts) since 2000.
He organized more than 20 exceptional exhibitions. In July of 2009, in Belgrade SULUJ (The Association of Serbian Fine Art Artists), he shall exhibit his photo-stories about Paris, Vienna and Belgrade, and he shall have a big author’s exhibition in August, in Italy.
He participated in many collective exhibitions of photographs in Serbia, Republic of Srpska, Bulgaria, and Germany...
From a long list of great prizes that he won, we select the following: the 17th competition of Yugoslav photography (1998), the Prize of the Serbian Orthodox Church and the Association of Professional Photographs of Yugoslavia (2000), the International Exhibition of Miniature (Belgrade, 2002), the Annual Prize of ULUPUDS (The Applied Artists and Designers Association of Serbia) (2005), the 11th International Photography Salon (Belgrade, 2006).
Among his work dedicated to photography we should mention Fotografski putopis Beograda Ivana Gromana (Jedan drugačiji pogled na fotografski opus I. Gromana), made in collaboration with Dragoljub Ristić, Institute of Balcanology SANU, Belgrade, 2003.
He is a member of ULUPUDS,

He is the winner of the First Prize for the series of photographs “The Beautiful Face of Serbia 2009” of the competition made by National Review.
