An art and magazine photographer, publicist, editor, publisher and pedagogue.
The master of photography of the Photo-Association of Yugoslavia and the eminent artist of ULUPUDS (The Association of Fine and Applied Artists of Serbia).
The President of the Photo Association of Yugoslavia. The founder of ”Biljeg – Balkansko i slovensko izdavaštvo”. He was the President of the Photography Association of Serbia.
He had forty-seven exhibitions of his photographs and he participated in about 500 collective exhibitions.
He has been a freelance artists from 1977 to 1984; the Editor of Photography in magazines Zadruga (1984-85), Rad (1985-90), Duga (1990-94), Svetigora (1992-2002). He is the author and co-author in many monographs (of Belgrade, Serbia, Novi Sad, Kragujevac, Judaica in Yugoslavia, Stare karte sa tla jugoslavije XVI-XVIII veka, Catena Mundi, Luda zemlja, Priča o Beogradu, Monograph of the Archdiocese of Montenegro and the Littoral, Raspeto Kosovo, Nova kosovska golgota), TV shows, calendars... He was also a war reporter from 1991 to 1995 (the member of Department of War Reporters of the Association of Journalists of Serbia).
His works were awarded more than 380 times on exhibitions in Serbia and abroad.
He is the winner of annual award for life achievements of the Photo Association of Yugoslavia (in 1992) and ULUPUDS (in 1988, 1992 and 1994, 2000, 2001). He was the most successful author in the Republic of Yugoslavia on the list of the Photo Association of Yugoslavia in 1994 and 1995.
He uses all techniques of photography, from the oldest ones to digital techniques. His subjects are everyday life, landscapes, spiritual heritage, and he is into studio photography.
He lives in Belgrade.
He is the winner of the Award for Life Achievements given by National Review in 2009.
